Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the Respondent No. 2 in No. 124/BCDFGISSSV/2015 dated 10.09.2015 and Quash the same and direct the Respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Boominathan S/o.Ramasamy aged about 20 years now detained at Borstal School and District Prison Pudukottai before this Court and set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous, as the order of detention challenged therein has been revoked by the Government. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Mr.A.Ramar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the Government Order containing the revocation order. The revocation order came to be passed in G.O.Rt.No.6814, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 29.10.2015.

3. As the order of detention has been revoked, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
