This petition has been filed, seeking to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents and their police men not to harass the petitioner and his family against law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that in respect of cases registered against the petitioner, he has already been released on bail and the proposals submitted to the District Collector for booking the petitioner under Goondas Act, have been rejected by the District Collector; despite that the respondent police are foisting false cases with an intention to invoke Act 14 of 1982 (Goondas Act).

4. There is an undertaking on the part of the respondent police that they will not foist any case against the petitioner and that there will not be any harassment to him. There is also an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

assurance by the respondent police that if at all the presence of the petitioner is required for any enquiry, they will issue summons to the petitioner, giving a specific date, time and place.
