ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in the said Crime No. 3 of 2017 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.

3. This Court has already passed an order transferring the investigation to the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tuticorin on the ground that the Inspector Of Police, Ottapidaram Police Station was not properly investigating the case.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) would submit that totally 36 witnesses have been examined by the Investigating Officer. He would further submit that the Revenue Divisional Officer's report is yet to be received by the police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thoothukudi

is directed to submit his report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Inspector of Police, CBCID, Thoothukudi is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
