Petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to take necessary steps to provide basic amenities especially drinking water, road, drainage etc., to the Adidravidar Colony of Sampattimadal Village, Palayanoor Post, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, on the basis of the representation dated 13.04.2018.

3. Considering the rival submissions and nature of the matter, we consider it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.04.2018, on merits and proceed in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. The outcome of the representation of the petitioner may be intimated by the respondents to him.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
