ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 2 to 4 to protect the Temple, namely, Sree Akkandi Amma Kovil, Arulmigu Sree Mahamuni, Sree Ayyannar, Sree Ariyaperumal, Sree Karuppar and Sree Vinayagar Temple and also direct the respondents to take action against the persons, 2/6

who collect the money from the villagers by using the name of the Temple based on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the devotee of the Temple, namely, Sree Akkandi Amma Kovil, Arulmigu Sree Mahamuni, Sree Ayyannar, Sree Ariyaperumal, Sree Karuppar and Sree Vinayagar Temple. While so, some persons tried to grab the properties of the above said Temples as if the Temples are their own Temple. In fact the Temple belongs to all the community people of the Village. The petitioner also sought for the accounts of the Temples but the administrators attacked the petitioner and abused the filthy language. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 22.02.2025 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 3 and 5 would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.02.2025 and the same is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within 15 days. 3/6

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner and they will consider the representation and dispose of the same within 15 days.

5. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to consider the representation and the same is also pending with the respondents, this Court directs the fifth respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.02.2025 within a period of 15 days from the date of this order in accordance with law by affording opportunity to all the interested parties.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed. 12.03.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR 4/6
