PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to call for the records pertaining to the case in Crime No.383 of 2014, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thalamuthunagar Police Station, Thoothukudi District and quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report.

2. Earlier, notice was ordered to the 2nd respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police, based on instructions submitted that already investigation has completed and final report has been filed before the Mahila Court, Thoothukudi and the same has been taken on file as Sessions Case No.10 of 2019.

4. In view of the fact that already investigation has completed and final report has been filed before the concerned Court. At this stage, the First Information Report in Crime No.383 of 2014 cannot be quashed.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
