O R D E R
The petitioner has sought for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to issue patta in his favour, based on his representation dated 28.01.2025.
2.Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader would however invite my attention to the representation of the petitioner and contend that the mistake which according to the petitioner that has crept in, was during the time of UDR, when the subject survey number was classified as "Kalam poramboke" and would therefore, submit that the petitioner has to approach the District Revenue Officer, Virudhunagar and the District Revenue Officer has not been made as a party in the present Writ Petition. 2/5
3.In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application before the District Revenue Officer, Virudhunagar, within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and on such application being made by the petitioner before the District Revenue Officer, he shall conduct necessary enquiry after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties and pass final orders thereafter, within a period of twelve [12] weeks.
4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
