O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 24.04.2025 passed in W.P.(MD) No.9372 of 2025.

2. By virtue of the said order this Court directed the respondent No.3 to enquire as to whether the wages that are being paid to the petitioners were in 3/7

terms of Clause 11(a) of the Letters of Intent issued for the years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 onwards and to ensure that wages are paid to the petitioners in terms of the said Clause 11(a).

3.Against the said order dated 24.04.2025, a writ appeal came to be filed by the 7th respondent in W.A(MD)No.1337 of 2025 before the Division Bench of this Court, wherein the parties agreed before Division Bench that it is for the first respondent to conduct necessary enquiry and not by the third respondent. Accordingly, an enquiry was conducted and a report was submitted before the learned Division Bench, pursuant to the interim order passed by the learned Division Bench. After taking note of the said report, the learned Division Bench closed the writ appeal as having become infructuous. The contempt petition filed therein alleging violation of the interim order passed there in were also closed.

4. From the order dated 21.11.2025 passed by the learned Division Bench in the said writ appeal, it is evident that liberty has been granted to the writ petitioner to take appropriate steps challenging the report dated 22.10.2025 submitted by the Enquiry Committee.

5. In light of the subsequent developments, the order passed by this Court dated 24.04.2025 in W.P.(MD) No.9372 of 2025 stands modified. The learned Division Bench has also opined that the said order has been worked out.

6. In view of the above, this Court is of the considered view that the present Contempt Petition cannot be entertained. It is open to the petitioners to take appropriate steps against the report dated 22.10.2025 in the manner known to law.
