With the consent of the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/4
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petiitoner has made an application for issuance of patta on 18.1.2025. The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the said application. On going through the affidavit, I do not find any third party interest involved and the petitioner claiming patta based on a registered sale deed as well as the patta in the vendors name. Hence, there can be no impediment for the respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application. The writ petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's application for issuance of patta and pass orders on merits and if necessary, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner. No costs.
