O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct second respondent to conduct an enquiry and dispose of his appeal, pending before the second respondent. 2.I have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner only seeks limited prayer to direct the second respondent to pass final orders in the pending appeal preferred by the petitioner on 19.12.2023.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for, it would suffice to issue a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on 2/5

merits in the pending appeal dated 19.12.2023, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as Mr.Salavudeen Khan, the rival claimant in respect of S.No.9/4. The said exercise shall be concluded within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
