The petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, praying to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners based on the complaint submitted by the defacto complainant namely Jegatha under the guise of enquiry.

2.Mr.V.Sasikumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the first accused is the husband of the defacto complainant and the petitioners are sister-in-law and maternal uncle of the first accused. It is further submitted that the first petitioner was already married and she is residing at Maraimalai Nagar near Chennai and the second petitioner is resident of Tenkasi and they have been falsely implicated due to matrimonial dispute between the husband and wife. submit that they have been unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police.

3.Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that there are specific allegations made against the petitioners in the complaint therefore, the respondents issued notice for enquiry and there is no harassment. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), the respondent is at liberty to conduct the enquiry, but shall not harass the petitioners. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
