PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Alangulam to expedite the proceeding in P.R.C.No. 63 of 2017 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam to expedite the proceeding in P.R.C.No. 63 of 2017 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending committal from the year 2017.

3. In view of the limited prayer sought for , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam to complete the committal proceedings within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months therefrom.
