For Respondent : Mr.S.Chandrasekar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in crime no.349 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections147,148,294(b),323,324 and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. During lock down period these petitioners have joined together violating prohibitory order and has assaulted the defacto complainant.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the though the occurrence alleged to have taken place on 01.05.2020, the First Information Report was registered only on 08.05.2020.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on 01.05.2020 complaint was given and taken as CSR and later after enquiry the First Information Report has been registered against these persons.

5. Since the petitioners have joined together violating prohibitory order and has assaulted the defacto complainant during the lockdown period, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
