This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (i.e) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Muppidari Amman Temple festival at East Street, Jothil Naickanur, Usilampatti, Madurai District, which is to be held on 13.04.2023 from 07.00 p.m., to 10.00 p.m based on the petitioner's representation in person on 01.03.2023.

2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the writ petitioner's representation was rejected by the second respondent vide order dated 14.03.2023. 2/4

4. Since the petitioner's representation was rejected, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
