O R D E R
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking consideration of a representation, dated 23.01.2023, given by the petitioner to measure the property of the petitioner totally measuring 2.25 acres out of larger extent of 4.42 acres in undivided survey No.89/4 and 1 acre out of large extent of 3.52 acres in Survey No.96/1 at Akkiyampatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District.
2. The larger area of land had devolved by atleast three sale deeds and it is the claim of the petitioner that she had purchased 2.25 acres out of 4.42 acres in Survey No.89/4 and 1 acre out of 3.52 acres in Survey No.96/1. There appears to be some confusion over the actual area purchased by the petitioner herein. For that purpose, the petitioner had filed a representation seeking measurement of the lands in 2/5
accordance with the sale deeds. Necessary charges will have to be made by the petitioner.
3. The first respondent/Tahsildar, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District, with the assistance of the second respondent/Taluk Deputy Surveyor, Marungapuri, Trichy District, may examine the representation of the petitioner and thereafter, issue notice to the petitioner and also issue notice to the earlier vendor and the owners of the larger area of the land and in their presence and in the presence of the petitioner measure the property as found in the sale deed of the petitioner herein. The entire exercise may be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
