2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the third respondent.

3.This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to disburse the service and pension benefits of the petitioner's husband namely, N.Arumugam, Late, S/o.Nallan to the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2021.
4.The case of the petitioner is that her husband was appointed as Sweeper in the respondent Corporation and he died on 23.12.2019. Thereafter, on 26.12.2021, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 to disburse the service and pensionary benefits. However, since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
5.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader as well as the learned standing counsel for the third respondent would fairly submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
6. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and provide the service and pensionary benefits, if she is otherwise eligible. The said exercise has to be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
