This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct a detailed inquiry on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 03.03.2024 and take necessary action in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3, submits that since the inquiry is pending before the second respondent, the same will be conducted and concluded within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/ Revenue Divisional Officer to conduct and conclude the inquiry, after providing sufficient opportunity 2/4

of hearing to the petitioners, the fourth respondent and all other persons interested in the subject property and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with the law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
