ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to conclude the proceedings, dated 30.01.2019 seeking report with regard to compassionate appointment to the petitioner herein.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that her father, who was working as a Senior Lecturer in the District Institute of Education and Teacher Training, while in service, passed away. Seeking compassionate appointment, earlier, the petitioner submitted representation to the third respondent. Since no action has been forthcoming, the petitioner again submitted a representation to all the respondents on 25.01.2019. On receipt of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same, the second respondent vide impugned proceedings, dated 30.01.2019, forwarded the same to the third respondent seeking report. As the same has been kept pending so far, this writ petition has been filed.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondents would consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on merits. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment by concluding the proceedings, dated 30.01.2019 and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
