O R D E R

It is seen that the case in Crime No.533 of 2016 has been registered only on 09.12.2016 for offences under Sections 420, 294(b), 506(1) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002.

2. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the First Information Report, a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner cannot be issued. However, this Court directs the respondent police to expeditiously complete the investigation in Crime No.533 of 2016 and either file a closure report or a charge sheet, as the case may be, expeditiously.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
