O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2026 and issue Adangal in respect of the petitioner's land comprised in survey No.663/1E (Patta No.6084), situated at Thenmalai Revenue Village PartI, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi.

2. According to the petitioner, the subject land was originally belonged to the petitioner's father, who purchased the same as early as 1979. On 23.01.2025, he had executed a sale deed in favour of the petitioner vide Doc.No.684/2025. Thereafter, the petitioner obtained patta in Patta No.6084. Now, the petitioner is seeking Adangal.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is doing agricultural activities on the said land and since the possession is with the petitioner, he is entitled to Adangal. 2/4

4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
