Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 25.07.2018; 25.07.2018 and 17.08.2018 against the order of punishment of stoppage of increment passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in Ref.LD3BT/920, dated 30.09.2017; Ref.LD3BT/1020, dated 06.12.2017 and Ref.LD3BT/1264, dated 13.06.2018 as expeditiously as possible morefully within the time stipulated by this Court.

Mr.J.Senthil Kumariah (in all W.Ps') COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeals, dated 25.07.2018, 25.07.2018 and 17.08.2018 respectively, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard J.Lawrance, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.J.Senthil Kumariah, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that challenging the orders of punishment of stoppage of increment passed by the second respondent, dated 30.09.2017, 06.12.2017 and 13.06.2018 respectively, the petitioner preferred appeals before the first respondent. Since no orders have been passed by the first respondent on the appeals, dated 25.07.2018, 25.07.2018 and 17.08.2018 respectively, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing these Writ Petitions.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that twelve weeks' time may be granted to the first respondent for the disposal of the appeals filed by the petitioner.

5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioner, dated 25.07.2018, 25.07.2018 and 17.08.2018 respectively, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
