Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the husband of the petitioner Sekar, S/o.Lazur, aged about 55 years, under the custody of the 3rd respondent before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J] The petitioner is the wife of one Mr.Sekar, S/o.Lazur, aged about 55 years. According to the petitioner, the detenu has been found missing from the month of March 2012. In this regard, he has made a compliant and the same has been registered in Crime No.283 of 2014. Since the detenu has not been secured, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, the leraned counsel appearing for the third respondent and we have also perused the records carefully.

3. The learned counsel for the third respondent submitted that the detenue had secured loan from various persons and he has escaped in order to hide himself from the hand of the creditors. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case has been registered and investigation is going on in the right direction and every possible steps has been taken by the second respondent to locate the detenu.

5. In view of the above statement, we could not issue any direction in this matter, as the investigation has taken in the right direction. We are in very hope that the investigation officer will investigate the matter in a proper manner. Hence, we are inclined to dismiss this petition as no other direction could be needed. 6.In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
