ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant permission and give adequate police protection to conduct Virattu Manjuvirattu and Annathanam on 21.04.2019 at Kumarapatti, Thirukalambur Post, Ponnamavarathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District in connection with temple festival at Arulmigu Sri Muthumariaaman Thirukkovil based on the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2019.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the programme date mentioned in the prayer has already been expired.

3.In view of the same, nothing survives in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
