The petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking a direction, the respondents to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 23.08.2016 accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3.Consider the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent shall give police protection to the petitioner only for appearance before the enquiry officer.

4.With the above direction, this criminal original petition is ordered.
