Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, for appointing an Advocate Commissioner to conduct the Sandhanakoodu Festival at Ervadi Kuthubu Hazarath Sulthan Syed Ibrahim Shaheed Oliyullah Dharga as per the traditional customs and usage existing in the Dharga for the smooth functioning of the said festival and also to carry out the tasks referred to in Clauses 10 and 22 of the scheme decree dated 27.04.1989 made in O.S.No.236 of 1978 on the file of the Sub-Ordinate Judge, Ramanathapuram within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.H.

The Writ Petition was disposed of by the Hon'ble Division Bench on 27.03.2024 itself. We are now on 16.04.2024. I had directed that IA should be disposed of on or before 26.04.2024. The question of granting extension as sought for does not arise at al. That would render the IA infructuous. The learned Sub Judge shall take up the matter and dispose of the IA within 7 days from today.
