O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.123/2024 on the file of the first respondent police, as against the petitioners.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, after completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the jurisdictional Magistrate and the same is yet to be taken on file.

3.Since the prayer is to quash the FIR and now, the second 2/4

respondent police has already completed the investigation and filed final report and as per the FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offence, it is for the petitioners to challenge the final report if they are aggrieved.

5.In view of the same, this criminal original petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
