: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in No.73/BCDFGISSSV/2015, dated 15.10.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely Arumugaraja @ Raja S/o.Azhagumuthu, aged about 28 years, detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. *********** [Order of the Court was made by P.R.SHIVAKUMAR, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous, as the order of detention challenged herein has been revoked by the Government. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Mr.A.Ramar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, produced a copy of the Government Order containing the revocation order. The
revocation order came to be passed in G.O.Rt.No.7819, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 26.11.2015.
3. As the order of detention has been revoked, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
