Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take necessary action in accordance with law by considering the representation dated 12.03.2022 sent by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that tender in respect of only 10 bars out of 102 bars in Tuticorin District were finalised and that out of the aforesaid 10, only four licences were issued after an order came to be passed in W.P.No.27352 of 2022 etc batch on 31.01.2022, directing the TASMAC respondent to close down all the bars within a period of six months. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that licence will be recalled and fresh exercise shall be carried out in the light of subsequent development https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD).No.6004 of 2022 particularly in the light of the order passed by the Principal Seat of this Court staying the order, dated 31.01.2022 on 05.04.2022.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
