.. Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to appoint the petitioner to the post of Mazdoor on the basis of compassionate appointment in the light of his representation dated 06.12.2018.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the representation dated 06.12.2018, this writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3.The case of the petitioner is that his father who was working as a Mazdoor in the office of the respondent Department, passed away on 11.10.2009, while in service. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner made a representation dated 06.12.2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the respondents. Since no action has been taken on the representation of the petitioner, this writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.12.2018, seeking appointment on compassionate ground and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
