ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on the complaint given by him dated 23.04.2018 in C.S.R.No.313 of 2018.
2. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has made a complaint on 23.04.2018, before the second respondent in C.S.R.No.313 of 2018, alleging life threat. However, the respondents Police neither conducted an enquiry nor registered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
a case and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 23.04.2018, enquiry was conducted and on enquiry, the petitioner appeared and submitted that they have settled the dispute amicably in the presence of the elders. Therefore, the said complaint was closed. Even if the dispute is not settled, the petitioner has to approach the civil forum, since the dispute is civil in nature.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the civil Court for appropriate relief, if need be. No costs.
