ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation / objection, dated 28.08.2018, to the tentative seniority list of Assistant Engineers / Electrical for the year 2007.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on both sides. 3.According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, who is working as Assistant Engineer (Electrical), is aggrieved against the tentative seniority list in the post of Assistant Engineers (Electrical). Hence, he made representation / objection to the respondents. Since, the respondents have not taken any steps to consider his representation / objection, the petitioner has come up with the present petition. 4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the grievance of the petitioner would be addressed on merits.

5.Under such facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.08.2018, and take a decision, one way or other, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
