Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner had put up a construction in the plot bearing No.22-A, Bye Pass Road, Ponni Nagar, Kalavasal, Madurai. According to the petitioner, it is an approved construction. But then the respondents are levying penalty on the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation dated 13.12.2018 in this regard.
3.The first respondent is directed to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is further reiterated that this Court has not given any positive direction to the first respondent to pass orders one way or the other.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
