Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned OTS Sanction order issued by the first respondent, dated 22.03.2018 in TALLAK/2017-18/549 and quash the same insofar as it provides 7 days time for paying the OTS amount and consequently extent the time till 31.10.2018 for payment of the amount under OTS by disposing the mortgaged properties.

(Order of the Court was made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and also made an endorsement to that effect. Further the learned Counsel https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

submitted that the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent on 31.03.2018 seeking for extension of time to pay the OTS amount, however the first respondent has not passed any order so far.

2. In view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also dismissed. It is open to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law.
