PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 4th Respondent to restore the above Patta in the name Petitioner in Patta No.3351, which is fraudulently obtained by the 6th to 33rd Respondents situated in Kollamkodu-B Village, Vilamvamkodu Taluk, Marthandam, Kanyakumari District in accordance with law by considering Petitioner's representation, dated 13.01.2025, within the time period stipulated by this Court.

Heard Mr.B.Sargunam, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the fourth respondent to restore the petitioner's patta in Patta No. 3351, which has been fraudulently, according to the petitioner, transferred in the name of the respondents 6 to 33. The petitioner has 3/6

already given a representation in this regard on 31.01.2025 to the revenue officials.

3.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the competent authority to consider the petitioner's representation is the third respondent, Revenue Divisional Officer, Padmanabhapuram. 4.In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 13.01.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private respondents 6 to 33 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
