This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking a direction, directing the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 13.08.2016.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

3.It is represented by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) that upon the complaint filed by them, the petitioner himself made an endorsement that he has not proceed with the case and hence, the complaint has been closed.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. In the event of effecting closure of the case upon conducting a petition enquiry, a copy of the closure report shall be forwarded to the complainant.
