ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the first respondent to grant selection grade to the petitioner in the post of Secondary Grade with effect from 03.11.2007 on completion of 10 years service and grant all monetary benefits.

2. Mr.S. Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the first respondent. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

3. Though this petition has been filed to give a positive direction to the first respondent, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the first respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.01.2019, based on the proposal returned by the first respondent, dated 07.03.2019, which has been represented by the second respondent's school on 20.03.2019.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing

for the petitioner, which has been agreed upon by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.01.2019, based on the returned proposal of the first respondent, which has been represented by the second respondent on 20.03.2019, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner,

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
