Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records on the file of second respondent in connection with the impugned selection list for the post of Gangman (Trainee) 2019-2021 pursuant to the Notification No.1/2019 dated 07.03.2019 published their official website in proceeding No-Nil dated -Nil and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to fix cut-off marks for different communal and special categories and thereby consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Gangman (Trainee) under the Scheduled Caste (General) or Scheduled Caste (PSTM) category based on marks obtained in the written examination within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

Though the petitioner herein had challenged the selection list for the post of Gangman (Trainee) for the years 2019 - 2021 pursuant to the Notification No.1/2019, dated 07.03.2019, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he is not pressing for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD).No.7574 of 2021 relief and that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the respondents consider his representation, wherein, he has stated that persons, who have scored lesser marks, have been appointed.

2. In consideration of the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, no interference is required to the impugned selection list. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2021 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is also directed to submit a copy of the representation to the respondents along with the copy of this order.

3. This Writ Petition stands ordered accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
