O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Land Grabbing Cases, Madurai, to dispose the case in C.C.No.5 of 2016 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.Mr.P.Jeyalingam, Special Sub Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Madurai District is present before this Court.

3. It is common knowledge that the Hon'ble Supreme Court has stayed all proceedings pending on the file of the Special Court for Exculsive trial of Land Grabbing Cases in the State, since the very constitutional validity of the constitution of the said Court is under challenge. Therefore, this Court cannot direct the learned Special Court for Exclusive trial of Land Grabbing Cases to dispose of the case in a time bound manner. Recording the same, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
