ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conclude the enquiry and take appropriate action against the respondents 4 and 5, the 3rd respondent to give protection at the time of fencing the petitioner's property based on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.02.2026.
2. Already the petitioner obtained an order of this Court in W.P(MD)No.15061 of 2023 vide order dated 11.10.2024, to survey the subject land. But the respondents refusing to provide police protection. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court by way of 2/6
filing this writ petition.
3. As far as the survey is concerned, the Tahsilar, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, is suo motu impleaded in this petition.
4. This Court is directing the Tahsildar, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District, to conduct the survey after issuing notice to the petitioner and the rival parties in accordance to law. Further, while surveying the land, if necessary, the Tahsildar shall seek police protection. If the Tahsildar seeks police protection, the respondent police shall give police protection on payment of necessary fees from the petitioner. The official respondents shall adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures at the time of survey:
a. The official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.

b. After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.
c. If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest.
The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
