ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is unnecessarily subjected to harassment at the instance of the 3rd respondent police.

3. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that sofar no complaint at all has been received against the petitioner and there is no question of harassment by the second respondent police at any point of time.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

5. If any complaint is received against the petitioner at any point of time, it is made clear that the second respondent police shall not harass him unnecessarily. If his presence is required for enquiry, he shall be summoned in 2/4

accordance with law and required to appear, only in accordance with Section 64 of the BNSS, 2023. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
