ORDER
Seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb by conducting enquiry in the petitioner's petition dated 15.02.2026.
2.Since no adverse order is likely to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to her is dispensed with.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the fourth respondent is the wife of the petitioner and their marriage was solemnised on 21.08.2020. Out of the said wedlock, they were blessed with two male children aged about 4 years and 2 years respectively. Thereafter, indifferences had crept in the matrimonial life between the petitioner and the fourth respondent and the petitioner had filed a divorce petition in IDOP No.40 of 2025 on the file of the Principal District Court, Ramanathapuram and the same is pending. While so, the fourth respondent and her brother had forcibly entered into the house of the petitioner and attempted to take away the minor children from the custody of the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner had sent a representation on 15.02.2026 to the first respondent. However, there is no positive action. Hence, this writ petition.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that already enquiry was conducted and the parties were advised to resolve their dispute in the pending matrimonial cases.
5.Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.
6.Considering the nature of the dispute prevailing between the petitioner and the fourth respondent to be matrimonial, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to work out his remedy before the Principal District Court, Ramanathapuram. No costs.
