Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission to conduct the Urchava festival on 24.05.2019 and 25.05.2019 with respect to the temple "Arulmighu Maduraiveeran, Poigai Kannimar Kovil" festival in the Ayyalur and Maniyakaranpatti Village, Vedasanthur Taluk, Dindigul District as celebrated for the past 50 years.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival on 24.05.2019 and 25.05.2019. It appears that it is an annual celebration. Therefore the fourth respondent is directed to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct the petition mentioned temple festival. But it is open to the fourth respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.
