ORDER

Seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and also to protect the property without any further obstruction to the petitioner's property, this criminal original petition is filed.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner is the father of the 3rd respondent. He had separated from his wife even before several years. However, now his son, who is none other than the 3rd respondent is continuously threatening him, compelling him to transfer the properties which stands in his name. Hence, this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) submitted that regarding the property dispute before the civil Court, the parties were called for enquiry, in which the 3rd respondent had denied the allegations against him.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

6. It is seen that already an enquiry has been conducted by the 3rd respondent police in this regard and the same has been closed. However, it is made clear that the petitioner is a senior citizen who has already separated his wife and son. Despite the pendency of the civil case, if the petitioner's possession over his properties or his life or limb is threatened by the 3rd respondent, necessary steps should be taken by the 2nd respondent on payment of necessary fees in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019. 3/5

7. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
