ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to permit the petitioner to peruse all the required documents as intimated by the respondent through the reply dated 06.06.2018 and also to select the necessary documents with an educated assistant as requested in the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2019. 2.Heard Mr.G.Ragunathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagavathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, after having made some arguments challenging the demand made by the respondent to pay a sum of Rs.19,630/- for getting a copy of the documents, he sought for under RTI Act, submits that, the petitioner is ready and willing to make the said payment as demanded by the respondent to the extent of Rs.19,630/- as a cost under the RTI Act and the rules made therein for getting a copy of the documents sought for by him which run about 9815 pages. 4.In view of the stand taken by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

● that the petitioner is permitted to pay the said amount of Rs.19,630/- to the respondent and on such payment, the respondent shall take photo copy of the documents run about 9815 pages as detailed by the respondent in his proceedings dated 06.06.2018 and provide copy of those documents i.e., photo copy taken, to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date, he made such payment.

5.With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
