ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to declare the probation of the petitioner from 03.03.2013 with all consequential service and benefits including promotion.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, eeking declaration of probation from 03.03.2013 with all consequential service benefits, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 26.12.2018 to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents on merits. 5.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.12.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
