ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.02.2024 and to issue patta for land comprised in Plot No.1, in S.No. 72/7A, Nilagiri Therku Thottam Village, Thanjavur Taluk and District. 2.Today, When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner is claiming patta in respect of the land comprised in Survey No.72/7A, Nilagiri Therku Thottam Village, Thanjavur Taluk and District, which is classified as Anadeenam and that the said land is in the possession of the third party to the writ petition and that the competent authority to consider the request of the petitioner is the Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai.

3.Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Land Administration), Chennai, along with all the relevant records, for appropriate relief in accordance with law.
