Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, to proceed the case expeditiously in S.T.C.No.886 of 2013 on the file of the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, manamadurai and dispose of the case within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai, to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.886 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was falsely implicated in the criminal case in the year 2011 for the alleged offences under Section 341, 355 and 506(ii) IPC. After investigation, the respondent has also filed the final report and the case was taken on file in the year 2013. However, there is no progress till date. It is further submitted that the petitioner is entitled for speedy trial as guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Additional District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Manamadurai is directed to dispose of the case in S.T.C.No.886 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2013, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
