This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioner and their family members without any legally sustainable complaint.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Mr.T.Pandi, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, C3 S.S.Colony Police Station, Madurai District, is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that, on the complaint given by one Ellappan, a petition enquiry is pending.

4. The petitioners are directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, they shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.
