Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The writ petitioner is an Arts and Science College. It is run by the Congregation of the Missionary Sister of the Immaculate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Heart of Mary (ICM), Tiruchirapalli. It is said to be a registered society under the provision of Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act, 1860. The petitioner has give an application dated 17.07.2018 to the first respondent seeking grant of minority status. The official respondents since asked further particulars from the petitioner, which have also been furnished, therefore there is no justification in keeping the writ petitioner's application pending any further. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 17.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
