2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent-Police 1/3

submits that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 vide order dated 13.03.2025 passed by the District Collector, Ramanathapuram.

3. At this juncture, Mr.K.Rajiv Gandhi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. In that effect, he has made an endorsement in the case file and the same is extracted hereunder: "It is submitted this is withdrawn as per the instruction."
